Now we are getting serious. You are now entering the professional diving arena. The Dive Master course is conducted over 7 days on the full time course or as an internship. The internship involves working with the Feet First team on a part time basis, in the shop, on the boat and in the classroom. The Dive Master course involves a close relationship with the dive centre.

Dive Masters form an integral part of any diving business. They conduct scuba refresher courses, lead guided dives from the boat and the shore, assist instructors during training and their dive expertise provides retail assistance to customers.

The Dive Master course involves an extensive training program, required to bring you up to the professional standards expected in the industry. For more details on the course, please contact us.

The Instructor Development Course, called the IDC, is required before you can become an instructor. If you love diving and want to be paid to dive, then become a Instructor. If you are after a lifestyle change or a fun exciting part time job this is the course for you. Perhaps you just want to take advantage of the shortage of dive instructors around the world and enjoy a working holiday in exotic locations.

At the completion of the  IDC you will be certified as an Assistant Instructor. To become a fully qualified Instructor you are required to complete the Instructors Exam, called the IE. Feet First Dive can organize the IDC on a full time or part time basis, leading up to the next scheduled IE.

Come in and talk to the Feet First Dive team to discuss your dive career development.
